Hi, I’m Roxanne Kennedy! You can find me at The Maker Heart Studio across social media. It’s my pleasure to be here again for the fourth year with Lonny, Tracy, and Shalon at the Bible Journaling Ministry Annual Conference.

I’m passionate about the transformative power of God’s Word and dedicated to helping others experience it in a deeply personal way. As a certified postpartum doula and lactation consultant, I bring a nurturing spirit to my work, both in supporting new mothers and in facilitating a weekly Zoom Bible study. My most significant achievement is the creation of the PRISM Guide—a comprehensive Bible study template designed to lead others into prayerful reflection and curiosity in the Word. My mission is to make God known throughout the world, beginning with my own heart.

Having grown up with a mission-focused mindset, I’ve traveled extensively and developed a deep love for different cultures. I find joy in connecting with Christians from diverse backgrounds. I’m blessed to be part of a local church that embraces over 150 languages and dialects, reflecting my heart for both the local body and the world at large, and the global church where we are diverse in race, culture, language, and history yet share the same Father and Brother in Christ.

As a vegan and the owner of an Etsy shop, The Maker Heart Studio, I share my passion for Bible art and journaling. My personal faith walk is holistic—I believe the Lord is God of our mind, body, soul, emotions, and intellect, not just our hearts. How we care for our bodies, environment, and the earth reflects our faith in God, who created these things for us.

I stand by 10 core passions that guide my life:

• God-Centered Living: Life’s ultimate purpose is found in a vibrant, personal relationship with God, acknowledging His sovereignty in every facet of existence.
• Wholeness in Christ: True completeness and restoration are found in a relationship with Jesus Christ, making us new creations in Him.
• Stewardship: Our bodies, minds, and resources are divine gifts from God, entrusted to us to manage with responsibility and gratitude.
• Love and Compassion: Love and compassion are the foundation of our existence, guiding our relationships with kindness, selflessness, and empathy.
• Grace and Forgiveness: Salvation is an unmerited gift from God, and we extend grace and forgiveness to others as a reflection of our faith.
• Purpose in God's Plan: Our lives have a higher calling, and we strive to align our actions and decisions with God’s divine plan.
• Community and Fellowship: Christian community and fellowship are essential for spiritual growth and mutual support, encouraging one another in faith.
• Prayer and Mindfulness: Prayer connects us with the divine, and mindfulness allows us to dwell in God’s peace, presenting our requests with thanksgiving.
• Eternal Perspective: We live with an eternal perspective, focusing on the everlasting promises that await us, fully understanding the fleeting nature of earthly concerns.
• Moral and Ethical Living: We passionately believe in living justly, showing mercy, and walking humbly with God, guided by ethical and moral conduct in all our actions.

These beliefs and values are the lifeblood of my existence. I live them with unrelenting passion, striving to be a living example of a holistic Christian biblical worldview in every facet of my life.
