Shalon Day

Hello World! My name is Shalon (Sh-alon, like gallon, not salon). I am a stay at home Momma, wife, daughter, sold out follower of Christ and so many other things in this crazy life. My ultimate purpose in life is to make the most positive impact on others through humor, love, leadership, friendship, faith and creativity all while supporting anyone who needs me in finding light, love and peace in the messy middle of life.

I have a lot of hobbies, but one of my most cherished is Bible Journaling. (gasp) Yes! I LOVE to color, paint, sticker, draw, in general USE my Bible(s). I am convinced of the power in creatively connecting to God, my Abba Father, through artfully and creatively showing Him my praise and worship of his amazing, awe inspiring love and beauty right inside His love letter to us, the Bible! 

My journaling journey began 10 years ago when I stumbled across this creative way to dig deeper into God's Word. I have been blessed to be a part of Bible Journaling Ministries from the beginning by volunteering to moderate the beginner FB group which led to tutorials, special technique courses and devotion writing to now being assistant for all things Bible Journaling Ministries including writing/creating monthly devotions, kits for monthly devotions and bonus kits as well as all behind-the-scenes tasks that are required for the entire ministry.
