The Magnificat: A Journey of Faith, Humility, and Praise

Hey sisters, welcome to my session on the Magnificat. Our time together will be interactive, so have all your session resources ready and cut out so we can learn and have fun together. I am excited to explore the Magnificat with you, Mary's prayer of profound faith and praise. We'll reflect on Mary's humble heart, her deep trust in God's plan, and her powerful example of living out justice and mercy. This talk will inspire you to see how Mary's song of praise can guide and uplift you in your own journey with Christ, especially during times of uncertainty and challenge. Let's discover how we can emulate Mary's virtues of humility, gratitude, and faithfulness, and align our lives with God's purposes, finding hope and guidance in His promises just as she did.

In our discussion, we will do a simple art project. We will cover topics such as what the Magnificat is, who Mary is, her heart posture, and her virtues. We’ll learn how to write a prayer like Mary did, cross-reference Luke 1:53 with Psalm 34, write out Psalm 34:6, and do a bit of prayer journaling. Lastly, you will be encouraged to use these tools to pray. I hope you join me in the conversation as we glean through the Magnificat.
